Whiskey and Pink Flowers Painting

Thank you so much for checking out this post, which is dedicated to exploring my newest painting, Whiskey and Pink Flowers.

This is my first big attempt at painting flowers and I love the way this turned out. I painted it over a stretch of several months, squeezing in the easel time whenever I could.

For this painting, I have been obsessed with dark moody colors, so I really wanted to use a color like that for the background and it just allowed the flower colors to POP! So much vibrance! The cocktail pairing with the old-fashioned whiskey just sort of pairs really well with the flowers.

Honestly, the combo of the flowers, the dark background, and the cocktail just fits me really well which is one of the reasons I loved painting this so much. I'm hoping to continue with this Cocktails and Flowers theme, and just need to find the time! Check out the pics below and let me know what you think :)

The original painting is an acrylic painting on canvas and is 22" wide by 28" tall and can be purchased from MY SHOP
